Required to self-administer injections.

Surrogates usually need to give themselves shots during the IVF process, but many say it’s no big deal!

3.Matching

-Profile is made and shared with IPs
-Interested Intended Parents profile shared with Surrogate
-Match meeting with Intended Parents
-Official Match
-Records shared with potential Intended Parents IVF clinic

4.Evaluations, Screenings, & Contracts

-psych evaluation done virtually
-Medical Screening at Intended Parents IVF clinic (1st of 2 times surrogate will have to travel)
-legal contracts reviewed and signed by surrogate & Intended Parents

5.Medications & Transfer

-Start of medications (usually injections)
-mock cycles (if IVF clinic requires)
-embryo transfer (2nd and last time surrogate must travel)

6.Monotoring & Heartbeat confirmation

-Local monitoring
-Fetal Heart beat confirmation
-IVF clinic graduation
-Transition to OBGYN
